Stainless Steel 316L Angle is a low-carbon version of SS 316 with better weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion, particularly in chloride-containing environments. Its chemical makeup contains chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), and molybdenum (2–3%), and trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and low carbon (<0.03%). Mechanically, it offers tensile strength of 480–620 MPa, yield strength of 170–310 MPa, and elongation of 40–50%. The strong structure provides durability, ductility, as well as resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting, making it suitable for harsh structural and corrosive environments.
