Stainless Steel 304 Angle is an austenitic alloy that contains 18–20% chromium and 8–10.5% nickel, with a maximum carbon content of 0.08%. This unique blend gives it fantastic corrosion resistance, good weldability, and high ductility. It boasts a tensile strength of about 515 MPa and a yield strength of around 205 MPa, with an elongation of 40%. This alloy keeps its structural integrity in a variety of environments, including mildly acidic and chloride-exposed conditions, making it a popular choice for general-purpose stainless steel applications.
