Titanium Grade 5 Foil (Ti-6Al-4V) consists of around 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium, forming an alloy that is high in strength, low in density, and corrosion resistant. It provides tensile strength of 900–1100 MPa, yield strength of about 830 MPa, and elongation of 10–15%. The alloy is resistant to high temperatures, possessing high fatigue strength and being biocompatible, thus appropriate for medical and aerospace use.
