Stainless Steel 317L Angle is a low-carbon molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel alloy made up of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum with superior resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and chemical exposure. It provides good tensile and yield strength, with high ductility and hardness, and is appropriate for heavy industrial applications. Its low carbon composition improves weldability and minimizes the possibility of carbide precipitation upon welding. It also has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and chloride-stress corrosion cracking, and is very reliable under acidic, chloride-containing, or high-temperature conditions.
