Stainless Steel 253MA Sheets and Plates (UNS S30815) consist of about 21% Chromium, 11% Nickel, 1.7% Silicon, and 0.08% Carbon, with minor Nitrogen, Manganese, and Cerium contents. These constituents support the alloy‘s resistance against oxidation, creep strength, and thermal fatigue performance. The material has a tensile strength of 600 MPa, yield strength of 310 MPa, and elongation of 40%, maintaining superior formability and structure stability mechanically. Capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 1150°C, this alloy functions efficiently under thermal cycling conditions and is thereby very well adapted to harsh heat environments.
