This precipitation-hardening stainless steel offers superior corrosion resistance and high strength. It offers yield strength of 725–1035 MPa, tensile strength of 930–1180 MPa, and elongation of 10–15%, based on heat treatment. These mechanical properties, along with superior hardness, toughness, and stress corrosion cracking resistance, make 17-4 PH a perfect material for precision-critical, high-performance industrial uses.
