Stainless Steel 201 Sheets and Plates are made from austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese alloys, containing approximately 16–18% chromium, 3.5–5.5% nickel, and 5.5–7.5% manganese, making them a budget-friendly alternative to higher nickel grades. They boast a good tensile strength of around 520 MPa and a yield strength close to 275 MPa, with an elongation of about 40%. This grade provides decent corrosion resistance and excellent formability, thanks to its work-hardening properties.
