SA537 Class 1 Boiler Sheets and Plates are normalized carbon-manganese-silicon steel plates, typically composed of Carbon (≤0.24%), Manganese (0.70–1.60%), Silicon (0.13–0.45%), Phosphorus (≤0.035%), and Sulfur (≤0.035%). These plates boast impressive mechanical properties, featuring a minimum yield strength of 240 MPa and tensile strength ranging from 485 to 620 MPa. They also exhibit good notch toughness, particularly in low-temperature conditions, and can be easily welded and formed, making them suitable for demanding pressure applications.
