Super Duplex Steel S32760 (UNS S32760 / 1.4501) is a high-performance duplex stainless steel alloy containing ~25% Chromium, ~7% Nickel, ~4% Molybdenum, and ~0.3% Nitrogen with trace quantities of tungsten, copper, and manganese. This well-balanced composition provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in chloride-contaminated environments. The alloy provides a tensile strength of 800–1100 MPa, yield strength of 550–800 MPa, and elongation of 25–40%, which is suitable for harsh structural applications under high pressure and temperature.
