Monel K500 Circle (UNS N05500 / DIN 2.4375) is a nickel-copper alloy containing around 63% nickel, 27–33% copper, with 2.3–3.15% aluminum and 0.35–0.85% titanium additions. Tiny amounts of iron (maximum 2%) and carbon (0.25%) are also included. This composition develops increased hardness and mechanical strength through precipitation hardening. It provides tensile strength of 965 MPa, yield strength of 690 MPa, and 20% elongation with outstanding corrosion resistance, stress corrosion cracking resistance, and oxidation resistance, particularly in seawater and high-temperature industrial applications.
