Monel Angles consist mainly of 63% nickel and 28–34% copper with addition traces of iron (2.5%), manganese (2%), silicon (0.5%), and carbon (0.3%). The composition provides great corrosion resistance, especially in seawater as well as acid environments. Mechanically, Monel has a tensile strength of 550–620 MPa, yield strength of 240–345 MPa, and elongation of about 35%. These angles maintain their mechanical properties at high and low temperatures, and provide excellent resistance against pitting, oxidation, and stress corrosion cracking, making them suitable for severe structural and environmental conditions.
