Stainless Steel 310 Channel is an austenitic stainless steel consisting mainly of iron, chromium (25–30%), and nickel (20–25%), with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. Its significant content of chromium and nickel gives it superior resistance to corrosion and oxidation, particularly at high temperatures up to 1,100°C (2,012°F). The alloy offers tensile strength of 510–740 MPa, yield strength of approximately 205 MPa, and superior creep properties. Renowned for retaining its structural integrity under conditions of thermal stress, the alloy is also resistant to scaling and is therefore suitable for application in highly aggressive, high-temperature industrial processes.
