These trace elements add up to improved oxidation resistance, thermal stability, and creep strength. Mechanically, the alloy provides a tensile strength of 965 MPa, yield strength of 690 MPa, and performs exceptionally well up to 920°C. Nimonic 90‘s higher fatigue resistance, stress rupture strength, and resistance to thermal stress allow it to be suitable for components subject to severe heat and pressure in advanced engineering equipment.
