Nickel Alloy 200 Coil and Slitting Coil consists of commercially pure nickel (not less than 99.6%), with minute amounts of iron, manganese, silicon, and copper. This alloy has superior corrosion resistance, especially in alkaline and acidic environments, as well as superior electrical and thermal conductivity. It possesses a tensile strength of 75–90 ksi (515–620 MPa) and shows superior ductility, toughness, and oxidation resistance. Nickel 200 also exhibits superior formability and weldability and is suited best for high-purity applications in severe environments like chemical processing, aerospace, and electronics production.
