Nickel Alloy 200 Channel consists of 99% pure nickel and trace elements of manganese, iron, and copper to improve certain properties. This alloy has superior corrosion resistance, especially in alkaline and acidic conditions. The alloy also possesses high thermal and electrical conductivity, good formability, and weldability. The alloy has a tensile strength of 35–80 ksi (240–550 MPa) and yield strength of 15–30 ksi (100–200 MPa), with good ductility. All these make it very appropriate for demanding industrial use involving chemical exposure and high operating temperatures.
