Nickel Alloy 200 Foils are made of 99% pure nickel with minor impurities like carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, and iron. This chemical composition provides superior resistance to corrosion, especially in alkaline, acidic, and neutral conditions. The alloy shows high strength, good ductility, and has thermal and electrical conductivity over a large temperature range. The chief mechanical characteristics are tensile strength of up to 380 MPa, yield strength of approximately 140 MPa, and elongation of 30–50%. It has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, which is favorable for high-temperature and dimensionally stable applications.
