Rene 41 Foil is a nickel-based superalloy that consists of about 19% chromium, 11% cobalt, 10% molybdenum, and the rest nickel, along with small amounts of aluminum, titanium, and carbon. It boasts excellent oxidation resistance and remarkable mechanical strength at high temperatures, reaching up to 1600°F (870°C). Rene 41 has a tensile strength that surpasses 185 ksi and a yield strength of around 140 ksi when heat-treated. Its hardness falls between 38–44 HRC, making it perfect for high-stress applications. This alloy also withstands thermal fatigue, creep, and stress-rupture deformation in extreme conditions.
