Nickel (about 57%), molybdenum (15–17%), chromium (14.5–16.5%), and iron (4–7%) make up the majority of Hastelloy C276 Foils, with trace amounts of tungsten, cobalt, and manganese. Excellent resistance to oxidising and reducing chemicals is a well-known attribute of this alloy. Mechanically, Hastelloy C276 Foils have an elongation of up to 60%, a yield strength of about 283 MPa, and a tensile strength of about 690 MPa.
