Super Duplex Steel S32750 Sheets and Plates exhibit a carefully designed chemical composition with 25–30% chromium, 4–7% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, and 0.15–0.25% nitrogen with trace content of copper, tungsten, and silicon. This alloy provides excellent corrosion resistance, particularly against pitting and crevice corrosion caused by chloride. It has good mechanical properties, including tensile strength of 750–1000 MPa, yield strength of 550–750 MPa, and elongation of 25–30%. It is these properties that render S32750 best suited to severe, high-pressure, and high-stress applications.
