Monel 400 Foils (UNS N04400) consist mainly of 63% nickel and 28–34% copper, trace iron (2.5%), manganese (2%), silicon (0.5%), and carbon (0.3%). The alloy has superior corrosion resistance in acidic, alkaline, and seawater environments. Mechanically, it offers a tensile strength of 550–620 MPa, yield strength of 240–345 MPa, and elongation of 20–30%, making it ideal for high-stress applications.
