Haynes 25 / L605 Foil is a cobalt-chromium-tungsten-nickel alloy, typically composed of 52% cobalt, 20% chromium, 15% tungsten, and 10% nickel. It’s engineered for outstanding performance in high-temperature settings, boasting excellent oxidation resistance up to 1093°C (2000°F). Even after extended exposure to heat, this alloy maintains high tensile strength and good ductility. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 960 MPa and a yield strength of around 400 MPa.
