Aluminium 1100 Circles are made up of a minimum of 99.0% aluminium, with small amounts of copper (0.05–0.20%), iron, and silicon. This commercially pure grade offers excellent corrosion resistance and high thermal and electrical conductivity. It has low strength, with a tensile strength around 90–130 MPa and yield strength near 35 MPa. Its Brinell hardness is about 35 HB. The alloy is very ductile and perfect for cold working, spinning, and deep drawing. While not suitable for high-stress situations, Aluminium 1100 Circles excel in forming processes and applications where conductivity is important.
