Aluminium 1070 Plates and Sheets consist of 99.7% pure aluminum, with small amounts of elements like iron (≤0.25%), silicon (≤0.20%), and trace levels of copper, manganese, and zinc. This alloy boasts impressive corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and excellent formability. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 85–140 MPa, yield strength of 34–115 MPa, and elongation of up to 35%, depending on the temper. The softness and ductility of Aluminium 1070 make it ideal for deep drawing and other forming processes, all while maintaining dimensional stability and a superb surface finish.
